Full Name: Adelaide Skye Love Craven
Age: Appears seventeen
Gender: Female
Race/Species: Solumorph
Home: A cottage in Serenity Village
Occupation: OCCUPATION HERE
Rank: Villager
Class: N/A
Familiar: The Twins; Lyla and Lane. When she found the two as cubs she just couldn't separate them, for they were inseparable.
Power/Ability: Her cells, unlike most her age, are young, like the ones in an unborn child, known as stem cells. They can change and mold themselves into whatever is needed, skin cells, blood cells, anything. The unique thing about her cells though, is that they can revert themselves back into stem cells and then change again to something entirely different, thus changing her appearance into anything she can imagine. The cells can multiply quickly to create larger animals such as a horse, and then can die off just as quickly if she wishes to change into something much smaller in size. It's a never ending cycle, her cells working differently than the usual living. All of this happens in a split second, so you don't really see her changing, she just changes in the blink of an eye.
Kin: KIN HERE
Personality
She, unfortunately, has yet to develop her ‘thinking side’ and so, does not give much consideration to rational thought processing. She tends to place more importance on immediate sensation and gratification than on other things, such as work. She also avoids looking at long-term consequences of her actions, which often gets her into trouble. She’s far from a logical thinker, and strives mainly on emotions. Most everything she does is based on her own emotions, and the emotions of others, therefore she doesn’t look for the logic in things. Planning is not in her vocabulary. She’s very spontaneous and enjoys it.
When it comes to males… Adelaide can hardly contain herself. Her flirtatious side is wild and hard to control, but who says she wants to control it? She’s very unpredictable and doesn’t cease to surprise you. She doesn’t really have one certain type of guy in mind, for she always considers everyone, though she often does find herself getting stuck with the jerks. The guys who are more on the daring, risk-taking side. The ones who seem to always be getting in some sort of trouble. She has yet to learn of their horrid ways… Maybe you’ll be the one to change that?
She has many thoughts. They travel through her brain non-stop, and you’ll often find her gazing off, day dreaming or consumed in her own thoughts. Out of nowhere she may blurt out something that has nothing to do with the conversation others may have been having while she blanked out. It’s easy for her to tune out people, though she doesn’t do so on purpose. Interrupting is another bad habit she has, though most of the time she really doesn’t mean it, for she was merely thinking and tuning out the words of the other person, and decided to speak on impulse before she lost the thought.
She views her entire world as a stage. She loves to be center of attention; by playfully making others happy. Her joyful smile and warm, friendly personality can light up a room full of people; they seem to be contagious, brightening even the most depressed person‘s day. She would love nothing more than for life to be a continual party. She has a tremendous love for life, and knows how to have fun; for she contains the special ability to get fun out of life, but needs to, yet often does not, watch out for the downside that comes along with living entirely in the moment. She gives everyone and everything a chance, never hesitating to try something new.
When she has her mind set to something, she can usually accomplish it, for her determined side tends to kick in at these times. Though, this is usually quite rare for her. Her personality, in this section, usually tends to be very scattered. Her memory happens to get lost with all of her thoughts, and she sometimes gets reality mixed with imagination. One could say she had attention deficit hyper-activity disorder, and she often believes it herself, though she treats it as a gift rather than something to try and help or get rid of. She puts this ‘talent’ to use, by learning how to control these things, putting all of her focus onto things she really enjoys. Though, of course, like just about every good thing in life, there are downfalls to this. For example, she loses focus easily, gets distracted and is very forgetful.
She’s very easily amused, by the simplest of things. One little thing could entertain her for hours on end. Sometimes she thinks things are overly funny, and evens laughs at her own laughter, causing her to forget what even made her laugh in the first place. This often entertains others bringing a smile to their own face, and sometimes causing them to join in on the laughter. Though she is easily amused, she has a flaw that contradicts this… she can also become easily bored with the same thing that had been amusing her in the first place. Her house, like her mind, is very cluttered. This goes along with her personality very well.
You can choose if this is an advantage or a flaw… She tends to take in every detail, not only is she observant of people, places and things, but she also catches every word and sound that she hears. Her senses are very enhanced, for she studies just about everything, smells, sounds, the feel and texture of something, and the way people and animals look and behave. She loves to sit high in the tree tops and just watch people. Yes, she is a voyeur… She will admit that, and even though she does tell people that, she still never gets caught in the act of doing so. Of course, this is only to fulfill her curiosity, she would never actually harm the person. If anything, she would want to drop down in front of them and introduce herself, hoping to make a new friend.
Sleep is one thing she really dislikes to do. She feels it takes up too much time; time that could be used doing something fun. You’ll rarely see her sleeping, though, she does like to lay in the sun, or somewhere high, such as a tree, balcony or the top of a hill, just thinking… Still, she rarely does that, she’s always moving. She’s up with the sun, and the moon, yet she still remains active. She likes to look at everything as a game, and she enjoys challenging herself. She’s almost always playful, never taking things seriously, and just enjoying her time in this world, living life to the fullest and on the edge, mind you.
If someone dares her to do something, she will go to great lengths to achieve what is needed to prove that she can do whatever it is she was dared. She receives a great feeling of satisfaction and a rush of adrenaline when taking a risk, and you’ll often find her getting stuck in sticky situations or causing some sort of trouble. She seems fearless to others looking in, and her happy go lucky attitude only seems to confirm that their assumptions are correct. Though everyone has fears. Her main one is her fear of not having enough time in the world to succeed in everything she wants to do. There is just so much to see, so much to do… she just can’t seem to get her thoughts around the idea of having the time to complete everything.
Traveling is one of her favorite things, she’s always on the move, visiting new places. She absolutely loves change, and anything that’s new or different to her, even if it’s old or cliché to someone else. An overwhelming sensation of excitement flows through her body with each step she takes toward a new land. She begins to feel uneasy when something stays the same for too long, and that’s when she starts to get bored of it, after the incredible delight is worn off. Though, she will come back, eventually, if she really likes the place, and the joy will return. At the moment she actually has her own home, instead of setting up camp everywhere she goes… Though you’ll rarely find her there. Staying at home really bores her, and so she’s almost always out, usually somewhere around lots of nature where she feels free and not caged in between walls.
One strange thing about her, is her odd need to fidget, though she’s never shy, nor nervous or worried. You’ll often find her biting her lip, running her fingers through her hair, pulling at a lose string on her clothes, or any other rapid, nervous movement. Only ones close to her can tell you what each of these mean. She, however, could tell you what almost anyone’s body language or facial expression is saying, even when they’re trying desperately to hide it. Since she is so in tune to her own emotions, she can usually detect others, even before most know that anything is wrong with the person. Once she detects this, she feels the need to try and help them in some way. Which, for her, is quite easy. Her smile alone can easily cheer a person up. With her upbeat and optimistic attitude, she can pass on her feelings to others, almost like some sort of talent or ability.
She’s a very artistic, creative, and original person. Not caring what other people think of her really helps shape her to who and what she has become. Confidence takes a person very far, why do you think she’s such a fun, friendly and happy person? She’s not letting herself worry about what other people think, she’s just allowing herself to be happy the way she is. She loves to write, about anything and just about everything, often getting herself carried away and lost in her words. Drawing and painting is another thing she enjoys very much. She can sit for hours on one work of art, putting all her time and effort into it to make it a true master piece.
Dancing is something she almost always catches herself trying to say is her favorite thing to do. Though it’s not at the top of the list, but somewhere near it, of course. She enjoys the music flowing through her body, even when none is playing, for she believes that music is everywhere. Even if someone denies hearing it, she knows it’s there… she can always hear it. Her body seems to move naturally with each beat, following the rhythm with expert skills. She often finds herself closing her eyes while dancing, and letting herself go completely. The sensation she feels while dancing is much too wonderful and complicated for her to even try and explain.
It’s rare for Adelaide to dislike anything, but there is one thing that she despises… And it’s anything that gets in her way of having fun or achieving a goal. The main thing that does this, are rules and the law. Rules are meant for breaking, and that’s what she lives by. Whether it’s purposefully, or accidentally broken, as long as she’s having fun, then she’s happy. She relishes excitement and drama in her life, and often causes it herself. Though, she dislikes conflict and hates when others are mad at each other. This is where she finds herself coming in to break up the fight as a peace maker.
Her love for animals is amazing, and almost unbelievable. She treats them as if they were her children, or part of her family, for that’s what she sees them as and she disagrees with anyone that treat them any differently. The two familiars she has now are serval cubs, named Lyla and Lane. They’ve been with her since she was born. They had a spell cast upon them both so they don’t age and they keep the appearance of a cub for the rest of their long lives. They can also speak in several different animal tongue as well as humanoid, like most familiars.

History:
Adelaide doesn't remeber much of her mother and father. They left when she was around twelve years old. Well, they didn't really leave her... A fire washed through Serenity Village, taking down their small cottage easily, along with the few trees that surrounded it. It moved quickly and swiftly to the rest of the houses around it. Villagers panicked, and everyone ran toward Insulam Keep for safety. Adelaide had been asleep during most of this, her parents had left her under the care of her nanny, to go out to the market for fresh food suplies. The nanny had fallen asleep as well, she was fairly on the old side and didn't even notice the smell of smoke. Her hearing was terrible, and so she was completely oblivious to the cries and screams of the crowd outside.
Adelaide, however, did hear them. They awoke her imediately. She didn't know what was happening... Sliding out of her bed, she headed for the nearest window, but smoke filled her lungs, making her eyes sting. She closed her eyes, and fell onto her knees, clutching the sides of her head, covering her ears with her hands, trying to block out their terrible screams. After a moment of failure, she let her hands fall to the floor and she began crawling toward the front door. She didn't know where to go or what to do, but everything told her to get away from the horrible black smoke that was filling her entire body. When she reached the door, flames instantly engulfed the wood, burning through the oak and causing it to splinter. The fire was amazing... She was distracted for a moment, as her blue eyes gazed into the flickering flames. She wasn't afraid, and for that moment, the smoke didn't even seem to bother her.
A hand reached out, to grab one of the flames. It was withdrawn quickly, as the smoke began to get worse, thinking as quickly as she could, she closed her eyes and shifted... Every cell in her entire body began to change, the shape of her body changing into that of a birds'. Deep black feathers coated her skin, as her arms lifted into the air taking on the shape of wings. On the inside her bones re-shaped themselves and hollowed out. She stood, talons growing onto her now bird-like feet. All of this happened in less than a second, though she took a moment to get used to the body. She took a step back, wobbled a bit, then regained her footing. She stretched her right wing slowly, then the left. Meanwhile, the fire was continuing to grow right in front of her eyes. It stretched toward the window, her next escape rout. She had to hurry.
Her father spent long hours teaching her how to morph, and how to control each different body that she transformed into. She loved his lessons, and now they would pay off. Stretching her wings a few more times, she leapt into the air. Flapping her wings harshly, she began lifting herself into the air. It was a struggle at first, like it always was when chaning into another body, but it gradually became easier with each movement. Her eyes glanced back into the rest of the house that was now being engulfed in flames. It was then that she realized the nanny was still in there. Panic raced through her. How was she going to get her out? Turning in mid-air, she began flying through the house, in the opposite direction of the open window. She headed through the hall, and toward the doorway of one of the backrooms, the one the nanny had stayed in.
The door had torn from its hinges, and the top of the archway burnt and fell at the floor below her. Sparks leapt from the wood, bouncing off the floor before losing their deadly glow. The smoke filled the air, even thicker than before. There was no way in... She could feel the sadness welling up inside of her, and if she had been in her original form tears would have been trailing down her cheeks by now. She would have to leave her behind. She had no choice... Though she hadn't known this new nanny very long, she felt great overwhelming sympathy for her. This shouldn't have to happen to anyone... Now, she had to focus on getting herself out of here. Turning back around, she flew toward the window, to find that it, too, had been surrounded in flames.
Likes:
There are so many things she likes... it's going to be hard to list them all. There isn't a specific order that these are listed, for she wouldn't be able to choose an absolute favorite. She's a people person-she loves befriending others, and being in large groups of people, though even just one person is more than enough for her. She adores animals, and would definitely be considered an animal lover as well as a tree hugger. Dancing is one thing that she feels she can let go completely and let all of her senses wash over, leaving her in ultimate bliss.
Dislikes:
She absolutely hates being alone. Rarely does she feel the need to, or want to be alone. She usually has at least one of her familiars with her to keep her company. Lyla and Lane are almost always by her side and she wouldn't know what she would do without them.
Fears:
From the outside looking in, she seems completely fearless. Though, deep down, like everyone, she does have frears. Her biggest one, besides losing someone closed to her, is the fear of losing in general. Losing time, losing a dare, losing at a game, losing an argument, anything. Though, when she does lose, she just tries again or lets it go. Her next biggest fear is being sick. She absolutely hates anything that keeps her in bed all day and takes away her time. She also has chronophobia, the fear of not having enough time in her life to do all the things that she wants to do.
Habits:
She has lots of common nervous habits, though she's rarely ever nervous. The only thing she can think of to why she does them, is because of A.D.H.D. The inability to stay still. She's always tapping her foot, drumming her fingers on just about any surface, twirling her hair, running her fingers through her hair, biting her lip, the list goes on... The one thing you'll almost never see her without, is gum. She's always chewing it.
Flaws:
Adelaide has quite a lot of flaws, if you think about it... Though she is a very happy-go-lucky, bright and friendly person, like everyone, she isn't perfect. Her deteremined attitude toward getting things done, mainly very risky and daring things, can get her into a great deal of trouble, not to mention the others that may be assisting her along the way. Her over-excitement tends to get on some people's nerves as well. Her obsessive need for constant change, lack of sleep and her inability to say no to a dare are a few more examples.
